"Mom, I found a hedgehog!"

Braden was outside burying his "treasure" when he stumbled upon a "hedgehog". Ok, so it was a fat little mouse but he didn't know. It was nesting under the dog igloo we are still trying to get rid of. (come and take it if you want it, PLEASE.) Scott tried to remove the creature with a shovel, but those darn things run fast. We, meaning Scott and I, decided to leave it alone and deal with it later. Well the kids still wanted to fawn over it's cuteness. Tristen was showing the neighbor boy when Tom the cat pounced in for the kill. Good cat I say but Tristen was devastated. "Tom the cat killed "Fuzzball", lovely she named it. Braden, my very compassionate child decided to give it a proper burial in the backyard. So with a shovel, duct tape and a hammer, off he went. They spent the better part of an hour preparing a proper place for Gods creature, whose life was senselessly taken by a local stray. The sign is a little hard to read so this is what it says. "Fuzzball did die October 19, 2009 by Tom. Grave."
