We made salt dough ornaments this year with the kids.
Not sure how they will hold up since I also
used homemade tempera paint. It was pretty chalky but
nothing a little glitter couldn't fix. They made their way
to the Christmas tree that was sad and sparsely covered. With
Molly and Asher both grabbing the tree I figured what's the point
of putting all the nice ornaments up. After all I'm not going to sit
by the tree and discourage touching all day, who has time for
that? So we had maybe 15 ornaments on the top part of the
tree, it was pretty pathetic but made taking the
tree down a breeze.
